About Us
Orchard Childcare was established as a company in March 2013. The company is run by Lisa Quested who has almost 30 years of childcare experience, the majority of which is providing and supporting a good standard of care within a school setting. She is now the driving force behind all of the groups; leading and role modelling excellent practice. Lisa provides an essential link between the school and the out of school settings.
What We Do
We work in very close partnership with the schools to ensure the standard of care we offer to children is the best it can possibly be. We pride ourselves on our excellent partnerships with the school and with our parents. We constantly reflect on our practice and seek the views of the children, parents and staff of the school in order to enhance the service that we offer.

Carla Fisher manages Orchard Childcare at Homefields Preparatory School, where she also serves as designated Safeguarding Lead and was appointed Area Manager two years ago. With qualifications in NVQ3 Childcare, First Aid, safeguarding, and food hygiene, Carla ensures a safe environment and strong community ties. She's particularly passionate about organising and leading educational trips, enriching children's experiences beyond the classroom. Her dedication ensures exceptional childcare at Orchard Childcare.
Nicola Reader

St Mary's
Nicola Reader is the overall Manager of St Mary’s After School Clubs and has been a dedicated employee of the Infants school for many years. With over 20 years of experience at Orchard Childcare, she brings a wealth of expertise to her role. Nicola holds an NVQ3 in Early Years and Childcare and is recognised for her extensive qualifications, including First Aid and SENCO certifications. In her capacity as Manager, she plays a pivotal role in overseeing operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of St Mary's After School Clubs, making her a central figure in the organisation's management and leadership.
Louise O'Connor

Mrs Louise O'Connor is a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant at Highview Primary School and has worked for Orchard Childcare for several years. With her extensive experience in both roles, Louise brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team. Louise also holds qualifications in safeguarding, first aid, and food hygiene, ensuring the highest standards of care and safety for the children. She is Passionate about supporting children's development and well-being, Mrs Louise O'Connor is an asset to our Club at High View.
Trina May

The Rowans
Trina is a qualified Teaching Assistant and has Worked at Orchard for the past year. She brings several years of experience from local schools and holds qualifications in safeguarding, food hygiene and first aid. Trina is Known for her warm and friendly demeanour; Trina is passionate about working with children and just completed her degree. She is excited to get to know both the children and their parents at The Rowans. We are delighted to have her leading the afterschool club.
Kieran Phillips

Foresters Primary
Kieran is Orchard Childcare's newly appointed manager, he has worked for Orchard for many years and has knowledge of all our clubs and works in the holiday club at High View. He is known for his bubbly nature and happy demeanour. He has qualifications in first aid, Level 3 in Childcare, and safeguarding. Additionally, Kieran serves as a lunchtime supervisor at one of our schools, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all children in our care.
